RAM is a registered entity under Ministry of Youth and Sports. We as an organization, much like any other sporting organization with ties to the relevant ministries. We envision the Maldives as a nation in which everyone is assured the full range of development and social opportunities, support, guidance and services that are necessary for them to become competitive in sports such as motorsports and taking further in to the international stage.

The whole essence of RAM is to promote integration, interaction and bringing people together through sports. Some of the key purposes of RAM includes lowering the amount of illegal races done in the Maldives in association with the necessary governing bodies avoiding dangerous accidents.

Racing Association of the Maldives is currently a non-profit organization seeking to be established as a governing body and regulatory board for motor racing in Maldives and also help youth become more active in daily life. This will in turn result in a drug and violence free productive youth environment.
